This week's question is:
“What’s the LONGEST book you’ve ever read?”
(Note: I’m putting one caveat on this question. You aren’t allowed to say the Bible, Torah, Qur’an, or other religious/spiritual text.)

I honestly have no idea what the longest single book I've read is. I've read a lot. But, I have to also say it was probably a Stephen King novel. I own practically every Stephen King novel and I've read them all. So I'm sure one of them had to have been the longest haha.
That's probably a safe guess. King's book are pretty long.
ReplyDeleteThe more I hop around the worst I feel. I never read a book written by Stephan King and I have read a lot in my life. I guess I should get one.

I've never read any of Mr. King's work, but I spotted a book by him that was over 1000 pages. O_O That's impressive!
ReplyDeleteThat's probably a good guess. lol He does have long books. I've actually never read anything by him. I tried The Shining but couldn't get through it. I think I'll try again one day. Maybe I'll try a different one though.

I never read a book by him either, happy Friday.
ReplyDeleteI only ever read Stephen's Secret Window, Secret Garden novella--remember its title was different from the movie. Other than that I couldn't really handle his stuff. Too creepy, which is odd since I don't mind a good reading scare every now and then! Oh well! I'm just weird!

Funnily enough, the only King novel I've read is Carrie, which was relatively short lol. I've seen others at the library though and my eyes have widened at the size of them! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yes, Stephen King did write several very long books. I used to read some of his stuff, but after Pet Cemetery I freaked. I was a freshman in high school...probably too young. LOL!

New follower, thanks for stopping by my blog as well! It is true there are lots of Stephen King books, and my favorite of his books are the really long ones!
ReplyDeleteI've read almost all of his books too, and I think you're right, at least one of them has to be the longest book you've ever read!! He's one of the only (non-fantasy) writers I know who can make such huge tomes so interesting.
