Amazon-Best of 2010 Reading Challenge

Over at Reading with Martinis they are holding the Amazon-Best of 2010 Reading Challenge.

This is my first ever challenge and, I'm excited to do it! Amazon releases a list of Editor's Picks books and Customer Favorites. There are 100 books in each list and the point of the Challenge is to pick 10 books from Editor's Picks and 10 books from Customer Favorites. We have to have all 20 books read by November 30th 2011.

1. The Heroes of Olympus, Book One: The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan
2. Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly
3. Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris
4. Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
5. Let's Take The Long Way Home: A Memoir of Friendship by Gail Caldwell
6. Super Sad Love Story by Gary Shteyngart
7. Blind Descent: The Quest to Discover the Deepest Place On Earth by James M. Tabor
8. The Night Fairy by Laura Amy Schlitz
9. Unbroken by Laura Hillenboard
10. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson

1. The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer
2. Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy Book 5) by Richelle Mead
3. Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1 by Stephenie Meyer
4. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
5. The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson
6. Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
7. Room: A Novel by Emma Donoghue
8. The Necromancer (The Secrets of the Immortal Life Nicholas Flamel) by Michael Scott
9. Sh*t My Dad Says by Justin Halpern
10. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
11. Life by Keith Richards

I know I picked 11 for the Customer's Picks but there were a few books I couldn't decide between and a couple people keep telling me to check out Life by Keith Richards. So, I'll just read an extra from that list.

It was actually really difficult to choose 20 books out of 200. There were a lot of other books I wanted to read but I needed to narrow it down. And there were a lot of books that I won't read. Like cook books lol. There were a TON of diet books and cook books on the Customer's Picks list.

Has anyone read any of these books yet? What did you think of them? And, are there any you would recommend that I do or do not read?
